Hey skater! I’m Isabel!

My epic journey in skating began at the age of 12, where I quickly achieved the status of national champion. My commitment to the sport led me to the Olympic Training Center, where I further developed my skills through a variety of classes, seminars, and disciplines, including ballroom dancing and ballet. I've won dozens of local contest, lots of regional championships and several national titles. As a registered coach with USARS, I’m dedicated to preserving and nurturing the spirit of competitive artistic skating, ensuring its continued growth and vitality. My experience working with children includes volunteering for story time/craft times at my local libraries and therapy work at public schools involving my dog. Kids seem to love my energy but respond to my authority. I’m clear about my expectations but I will also be their biggest cheerleader!

I don't think roller skating coaches are in this for the money. I don't know if us roller skaters will ever have ice skating money coming in, so believe me when I say I am in this only for the sport. I just want to teach people how to skate their very best.

I absolutely love skating. I love what it offered me way back then and I love what it offers me now. I feel the need to repay that with offering my experience to others.

In addition to my passion for skating, I also enjoy dedicating time to running a charity group based on Star Trek, playing with my dog, sewing, camping, eating yummy snacks, and exploring a wide variety of music. My dream would be to travel the world and teach skating and choreo!
